Please reach us at info@havenpostnatal.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We recommend coming immediately after being discharged from the hospital so we can support you with recovery and the transition into parenthood. You may stay with us any time during the first 12 weeks after delivery. We suggest the earlier, the better, so we can provide comfort and rejuvenation when you need it the most!
We recommend a minimum of 5 nights.
Please bring any personal items that you may need to feel comfortable during your stay: loungewear, toiletries, and any postpartum items that may be helpful. We also recommend you bring your own breast pump.
Here is a condensed list of recommendations:
Any medications as prescribed by your doctor or over-the-counter medications
Breast pump (Our Haven team will be here to assist you if needed)
Nursing bra / Nursing top
Breast shields
Nursing pad
Sanitary pads
Anything else you would generally pack for a hotel stay.
For Baby
We have most supplies; however, please bring them if you have strong product preferences.
At Haven, we offer a personalized experience with no rigid timelines. Guests are free to schedule a massage, participate in daily classes, socialize in the mother’s lounge, or simply unwind with their new baby. Our dedicated team provides practical assistance and guidance encompassing baby care (bathing, diapering, bottle feeding, breastfeeding, swaddling) and maternal care (including physical recuperation, pain management, mental wellness). Our guests often find this hands-on learning to be one of the most valuable aspects of their stay with us. Our nursery operates around the clock, and the mother’s lounge always has snacks and beverages on hand
We require a one night deposit when booking your reservation. The remaining amount will be due 14 days prior to your expected arrival.
Absolutely. We allow, and encourage, one support person to join mom and baby during their stay if mom so desires. You may choose to have another family member or friend as a support person instead, or choose to stay without a support person. Meals for your partner or support person are not included in your stay; however, they will have access to room service and can order in from nearby restaurants.
Yes! We work with you and the chef to make sure your dietary needs are met.
We understand the importance of family visits when welcoming your new baby. Guests can invite visitors to their room if they wish or meet them in public areas of the hotel. To protect the health of our newborns and recovering mothers at Haven, we limit access to shared spaces to one support person who can stay overnight with the mother and baby. We require that all visitors be symptom-free, head directly to the guest's room, and wear masks in the corridors. Our visitation policy may be updated in response to local hospital and government guidelines.
Yes! You will need to administer you baby’s medication. Let us know the frequency/times your doctor has prescribed related to your baby’s medication, and we will bring your baby to you from the nursery at those times.
Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to accommodate babies that require medical equipment. However, we are always thinking of our mothers whose babies require additional medical support. As we grow, we will look for ways to accommodate babies with special medical equipment and their families.
While our standard policy is 12 weeks postpartum, we are happy to welcome mothers who are up to 16 weeks postpartum.
At Haven, our goal is the same as yours: to give you the best postpartum experience. In order to do that, we came up with a cancellation policy that is considerate of unexpected circumstances and enables us to continue to provide the highest quality of service.
Medical Emergency, Concerns or Loss of Life: In the case of medical emergency, concerns or unfortunate losses (i.e. miscarriages or loss of life), guests will receive a full refund for their stay.
NICU Babies: We can still be a haven to you even if your baby is admitted to the NICU. Haven has close proximity to major hospitals, allowing you to still take advantage of the rest & recovery, emotional support, and pumping guidance among other helpful resources that Haven has to offer.
Cancellation 14+ days prior to check-in: Guests cancelling more than 14 days before original check-in date are entitled to a refund minus a $150 processing fee.
Cancellation less than 14 days prior to check-in: Guests are entitled to a refund of 50% of the total reservation cost for the original reservation, unless there is a medical emergency.
Shortening the stay less than 14 days prior to check-in: Guests are entitled to a refund of 50% of the cost of the remaining days they no longer intend to stay.
Example: Your original stay was for 6 nights at a total of $6,000 (at $1,000 a night), but you would now like to stay for 3 nights. You would be entitled to a refund of $1,500 or 50% of the cost of remaining days you no longer intend to stay.
Same Day Cancellation and No Show: Guests will be charged for the entire duration of their reservation.
Upon check-in, stays that are shortened are non-refundable unless there is a medical emergency or another reason deemed appropriate by management.
