You just spent the last 9 months growing a human. It is imperative that you get adequate rest. While you are staying at Haven Postnatal Retreat you have the option to send the baby to a 24/7 monitored nursery so you are able to recover and recharge.

The fourth trimester can be a time of intense joy, but it can also be a period of significant challenges, marked by sleep deprivation, hormonal fluctuations, physical discomfort, and the emotional rollercoaster of adjusting to new motherhood. It can include feelings of vulnerability, confusion, and self-doubt, but it's also a period of remarkable resilience, strength, and deep emotional connection. We recommend a minimum of 5 nights.
Absolutely. We allow, and encourage, one support person to join mom and baby during their stay if mom so desires. You may choose to have another family member or friend as a support person instead, or choose to stay without a support person. Meals for your partner or support person are not included in your stay; however, they will have access to room service and can order in from nearby restaurants.
We recommend coming immediately after being discharged from the hospital so we can support you with recovery and the transition into parenthood. You may stay with us any time during the first 12 weeks after delivery. We suggest the earlier, the better, so we can provide comfort and rejuvenation when you need it the most!
